Hello to all my artist friends

I just wanted to let you know about some of the things I have been working on lately.

It has been a very busy and productive winter and spring. I put on a lot of road miles with a fewl trips to Ketchum and am happy to say that I now have several of my paintings on display in the Kneeland Gallery.

I finally finished filming and producing my first DVD "Pro Landscape Painting Techniques." I am very proud of the finished product! It is a start-to-finish demonstration of techniques for creating a finished oil painting from a photograph.

I have also been teaching several oil painting classes every week. See the article below for a schedule of my classes.

A Class in Landscape Oil Painting

My classes are a very structured approach to landscape painting. I teach a method which covers the basics of "How to build an oil painting." The classes are small (10 or fewer students) so that I can spend individual time with the students. I have found that beginners as well as more advanced painters benefit from the method I teach.
